About Us

We have been active in our local Arizona community for over 15 years. After seeing how toys can impact a child’s hospital experience, our group got together and brainstormed how to help fill the toy closets. We started by collecting toys through toy drives but after seeing the amount of support we received, we decided to host a larger fundraising event. And thus, the Help Fill the Toy Closet Golf Tournament was born!

As of 2025, we’ve raised over one million dollars to benefit kids at Banner Children’s hospitals!

Our History: A Timeline

2009 - We held our first toy drive
2011 - We held our first golf tournament fundraiser
2012 - It’s official! We became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization
2016 - $250k donated to date
2019 - $500k donated to date
2022 - We hosted our 10th Anniversary Help Fill the Toy Closet Golf Tournament! *
2022 - $750k donated to date
2025 - We hosted our 15th Anniversary Help Fill the Toy Closet Golf Tournament!
2025 - $1 Million donated to date

*This event was originally planned for 2020 but was postponed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, were grateful to have been able to hold a scaled down event in 2021 as the pandemic negatively impacted the fundraising capabilities of many charitable organizations.
