Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation Raises $90,000 at 15th Annual Golf Tournament — Surpassing $1 Million Raised Since Founding
Phoenix, AZ — October 2025 — The Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation is proud to announce that its 15th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser raised $90,000 in support of Banner Children’s at Desert and Banner Children’s at Thunderbird. With this year’s success, the Foundation has officially surpassed $1 million raised since its founding in 2010, a remarkable milestone in its mission to bring joy, comfort, and hope to children receiving medical care.
Founded in 2010, the Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing new toys and gifts to children in Arizona hospitals. What began as a small community effort to brighten a child’s hospital stay, has grown into a lasting movement of generosity that touches thousands of young lives each year.
Through its partnership with Banner Health, the Foundation ensures hospital toy closets remain stocked throughout the year. These toys help care teams comfort children, ease anxiety, and create moments of happiness in the healing process.

To celebrate this achievement, the Foundation will host two check presentation ceremonies:
Wednesday, November 12 – Banner Children’s at Desert
Tuesday, November 18 – Banner Children’s at Thunderbird
These presentations will commemorate the impact of the 2025 fundraiser and the continued partnership with Banner Health, which allows the Foundation to deliver thousands of toys each year to children in care.
Since its inception, Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation has raised more than $1 million to support Arizona’s pediatric patients. Each donation from tournament sponsorships to community gifts helps ensure that every child facing a hospital stay is reminded they are not alone, and that joy can be found even in challenging times.
